This 2020 art piece was so magical to paint! My inspiration to paint this 9″ X 12″ canvas came from the season change, tree leaves, and portals! What can portals NOT lead to? Let’s face it, portals lead anywhere! I wanted to project how I visualize a tree in space. In other words, I painted a space realm where a vibrant tree loses its leaves in order to evolve. I also painted an inner portal revealing a heart in the shape of leaves to symbolize Life. I included falling leaves, stars, and the mesmerized “open-eyed” portal revealing the enchanted tree. In addition, I painted green vines along the border to display a door into space and to accentuate a forest vibe . The magical part about my dreams is that they are out of this world!
