This 2019 art piece was the start of mixing metallic paint with acrylic paint. My vision to paint this 16″ X 20″ canvas came from the HBO series Game of Thrones. Fantasy dragons have been around for…seems like a millennia. For instance, there are books, movies, shows that include a dragon. In addition, those fantasy dragons appear to have snake-like features – horns, scales, wings, tails, you name it. In other words, those seem to be reptilian features that give the illusion of a ferocious dinosaur! Therefore, I choose to paint a dragon with skin full of red galaxies and shooting stars instead of scales, but keeping the snake features. Above all, I desired to bring my type of dragon into existence that was touched by galaxies.
