The image above is from my original painting, “Heart Warming.”
This 2021 canvas was an absolute joy to create and paint! My inspiration to paint this beautiful 12″ X 12″ canvas came from hearts, galaxies, and the sun. I wanted to project how I envision warmth coming from the heart. In other words, I wanted to incorporate a bright sun that illuminates everything it touches. In addition, I painted a reddish pink galaxy revealing colorful stairs leading up to a vibrant heart portal. To me, love and light are two fundamental components for creating, sharing affection, and hope. After all, we are all here on Mother Earth to connect with one another through love.
