This 2021 canvas was so captivating to paint! My inspiration to paint this 12″ X 12″ canvas came from neurons, stars, and the TV series Babylon 5. I wanted to project how I envision my third eye reacting to chemicals. In other words, I wanted to incorporate a colorful eye that unveils neuropeptides. In addition, I painted a dark-blue galaxy revealing a circular portal with gold chemical formulas floating around gold neurons. As a human being, our minds are literally programmed by the chemicals swirling around our brains. Thankfully, these four chemicals made you into the magical being you are!
