This 2020 art piece is part two of my DISCOVER series and was an absolute bliss to paint! My inspiration to paint this 12″ X 16″ canvas came from tropical jungles, portals, and the sun. The sun brings warmth, growth, and light to a new day. I wanted to portray how I envision the sun in a tropical scenery. In other words, I painted tree guardians to reveal a beaming yellow sun peaking over the horizon. I included land, mountains, and nature to bring life to the vibrant view of a new day. In addition, I slipped in the center a wavy blue river leading from exotic plant life. In any case, my vivid dreams enhance my creativity.
