The image above is from “Emerge Part II.”
This art piece is the first canvas I painted of 2021! My inspiration to paint this 12″ X 12″ canvas came from geometric shapes, the color blue, and from “Emerge” of 2020. I wanted to project how I envision a complex perspective of emerging. In other words, I wanted to incorporate a blue crystal in the center of the canvas to commemorate “Emerge.” In addition, I painted the blue crystal splitting open revealing an eye from space. Eyes have always captivated me whether it be drawings, real life, or in my dreams. Luckily, my portal paintings have evolved as well as my vision.
