The image above is from my original painting, “Magic Mirror.”
This 2022 piece was so trippy to paint! My inspiration to paint this circular mirror came from clouds, the stars, and mirror art ! I wanted to project how I envision what a portal would look like using a mirror as a canvas. In other words, I wanted to incorporate a cloud design to illuminate the portal opening into another world (wherever destination the mirror is taken to.) In addition, I painted mini aliens to complete this out-of-this-world mirror design. Truth be told, mirrors hold the key to magical transformations.
