This 2019 art piece is the second canvas in my AWAKENING series. My vision for this 16″ X 20″ canvas came from the sacral chakra Svadhishthana, portals, and orange nebulas. Art brings awareness in life. In other words, art can represent connections, emotions, and passion. Therefore, I wanted to paint how the sacral chakra makes me feel. For instance, I used the sacral symbol to paint a flower with petals filled with galaxies and shooting stars. In addition, I created a portal at the center of the flower revealing a back with symbols. Relatively, the symbols represent my interests in spirituality and tattoos. Above all, connection within yourself brings out your passion.
